ABOUT PHEBE NOVAKOVIC Ms. Phebe N. Novakovic has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of General Dynamics Corporation since January 1, 2013 and has been its Director since May 2012. Ms. Novakovic served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at General Dynamics Corporation from May 2, 2012 to December 2012. She served as an Executive Vice President of General Dynamics Marine Systems, Inc., from May 01, 2010 to May 2012. Ms. Novakovic served as Senior Vice President of Planning & Development at General Dynamics Corporation and General Dynamics Land Systems Inc. from July 2005 to May 1, 2010. She served as Vice President of Strategic Planning at General Dynamics Corporation from October 2002 to June 30, 2005. She served as Staff Vice President of General Dynamics Corporation from May 2002 to October 2002; Director of Strategic Planning and Development March 2001 to May 2002 and Special Assistant to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense from July 1, 1997 to March 2001 and had been a Deputy Associate Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Ms. Novakovic serves as a Director of Abbott Diabetes Care, Inc. She has been an Independent Director at Abbott Laboratories since 2010.
