She joined the company in 2014, and her relationships on the accounting, valuation and legal fronts have been instrumental to the company’s 30% organic annual growth rate, including spearheading the acquisition of 11 companies (so far) during her Parts Town tenure. Lori was recently named to the Crain’s Chicago Business list for 2019 of Notable Women Executives over 50. Prior to joining Parts Town, Lori served as CFO of Huskie Tools and VP and CFO of Tippmann Sports, LLC. From 2001 to 2004, she served as the VP of Finance at LMA North America. Her career in finance began at Bell Sports, where she held a variety of roles from 1993 to 2001. Sherwood earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1988 and an MBA at Boston University in 1991. Lori is a formal mentor in the PT Holdings Women’s Network and participates in Parts Town’s Helping Hands community service initiatives, building gardens for elementary schools and raising funds for charities. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling - having been to all seven continents with her husband - and wildlife & landscape photography. Between trips, they write coffee table-style books with photography from trips and tales of their adventures.
