Shannon oversees Cisive’s Marketing and Strategic Alliances as Senior Vice President. During her time at Cisive, her leadership and vision for Marketing and Partnerships has established Cisive, and it’s brands, as the premier provider in the background screening industry. Due to Shannon’s efforts, Cisive is widely recognized across the globe. She brings over a decade of experience in the background screening industry, beginning her remarkable career at a regional background screening firm in Columbus, Ohio. Her achievements include leading First Advantage’s mid-market team to achieving 300% growth and helping create their Women in Leadership Board as the youngest female on their leadership team. As an entrepreneur, Shannon formed a partnership with First Advantage’s former EVP to create their own background screening firm, ScoutLogic, in 2017. As VP of Operations, she was able to make Columbus a hub for ScoutLogic and created several jobs in the local area. Shannon has also been recognized as The 10 Most Influential BusinessWomen, Top 30 Women Leaders in SaaS, as well as being recognized by Columbus Business First as one of the Top 15 People to Know in HR, and received the Mamapreneur Award for being a top Female Columbus Entrepreneur. Community involvement has also been a passion of Shannon’s. She began by volunteering with Ronald McDonald House during her high school years and spent a majority of her summers with Habitat for Humanity. She was first introduced to Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure in 2007 and has been recognized for her efforts contributing to managing all volunteers in Columbus and Athens for the last 15 years. Shannon is a member of CHIEF and has also been recognized by the Human Resources community and served as a board member for the Human Resources Association of Central Ohio (HRACO) and the Ohio SHRM State Council.
